Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of MBM Macon-Bibb Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.

Services Provided

MBM Macon-Bibb Masonry provides professional masonry contractor services including brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, stone veneer installation, and related masonry work. We provide free consultations and written estimates for all projects. Final pricing may be adjusted if we discover additional work needs during the project that were not visible during the initial assessment.

All work is performed by licensed and insured professionals according to local building codes and industry standards. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We may decline projects that we determine are unsafe, not feasible, or outside our scope of expertise.

Estimates and Pricing

Estimates provided are good faith approximations based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final costs may vary if we encounter unexpected conditions such as hidden damage, soil issues, or structural problems not visible during the initial consultation. We will inform you of any significant changes to the scope or cost before proceeding with additional work.

Payment terms will be outlined in your written estimate or contract. We typically require a deposit before starting work and final payment upon completion. We accept various payment methods as specified in your contract. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

Scheduling and Delays

We will make every reasonable effort to complete your project within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, permit processing, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your project, please provide as much advance notice as possible. Cancellations after work has begun may be subject to fees for materials purchased and work already completed.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our workmanship and provide warranties as specified in your written contract. Warranty coverage typically includes defects in our installation and labor. Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, or modifications made by others.

Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are subject to their terms and conditions. We will assist you with warranty claims when applicable. To maintain warranty coverage, you must follow recommended maintenance procedures and contact us promptly if issues arise.

Liability Limitations

While we carry comprehensive general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific services in question.

You are responsible for ensuring access to the work area and removing or protecting any personal property that could be damaged during construction. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property but are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.

Property Access and Safety

By hiring us, you grant us permission to access your property as needed to complete the work. You agree to maintain a safe work environment and inform us of any known hazards on your property. We maintain strict safety standards and expect cooperation from property owners to ensure everyone's safety.

Please keep children and pets away from work areas during construction. Construction sites contain hazards including tools, materials, and unfinished structures. We are not responsible for injuries that occur when safety guidelines are not followed.

Permits and Compliance

When required by local regulations, we will obtain necessary building permits for your project. Permit costs are typically included in your estimate. You are responsible for providing accurate property information and ensuring we have legal authority to perform work on your property.

If you are subject to homeowner association rules or deed restrictions, you are responsible for obtaining any required approvals before we begin work. We are not liable for violations of HOA rules or deed restrictions.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our work, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any problems. If we cannot reach a mutual agreement, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Bibb County, Georgia, rather than through court litigation.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
